Büşra Aydagün
Büşra Aydagün is an artist from Çanakkale, who resides in the village of Alçıtepe. After completing her undergraduate education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, she moved to the village. She has developed a significant portion of her art practice in the village where she has lived for the past four years. Her interest in the movements and textures of tree branches has evolved into large-scale tree productions and has led her to delve into the roots with curiosity about her family's past and migration issues. In her recent works, she processes cultural formation and societal consciousness through root forms. Over the past year, she has revitalized an unused village school in her village, establishing the Kirte School. She hosts artists from different disciplines in the village, collaborating with each visiting artist to create work centered around a specific theme.
